Photochromic Film
WHAT IT IS
This display shows a special photochromic film—a thin clear sheet that changes color when exposed to UV rays of Sun Light. When the film is in the shade it stays almost transparent but when UV light hits it, the film turns a darker color. You can see the color change happen in real time, right in front of you, without touching any controls. It's clean, safe, and works automatically with light.
HOW IT WORKS
- The film contains light sensitive molecules that react to UV light.
- These molecules open up when UV light touches them.
- They then absorb more light which makes the film turn darker.
- When the UV light is removed, the molecules close again, and the film returns to being clear or lighter.
